We are delighted to announce that Archbishop Schnurr has approved the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s participation in the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day. The Stewardship Department is partnering with #iGiveCatholic to offer this online fundraising initiative to our parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries.

Now in its 5th year, the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Declared “the most successful Catholic crowdfunding event to date” by the National Catholic Register, the giving day kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back. In 2018, the fourth year of the campaign raised more than $5.6 million for 2,500+ participating parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries representing 29 dioceses across the country. At the close of the 24-hour giving period, the number of online contributions totaled more than 28,000 gifts from 48 states and 6 countries, including Afghanistan, Belgium, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
